- No, you dont need to create an account with portkey if you choose to deploy the gateway on your own
- If you're using the saas version, where you dont need to self host and hit the https:/api.portkey.ai endpoints, the data is stored in portkeys datastore, fully encrypted and gdpr, iso compliant
- If you're using the enterprise solution, data is stored within your own deployments, with no external access
